Grand Knight

Dave joined the Knights of Columbus in 1986, at King's College Council, 5966. He is a former multi-state licensed Field Agent with the Knights of Columbus Insurance Mitchell and Hutek Agencies. Dave is a former District Deputy, past Harrisburg Diocesen Membership Chairman,and a 4th Degree member and past Faithful Navigator and Comptroller of the BIshop McDevitt Assembly, York. He is a past Grand Knight for two councils, PA. He is a past Treasurer for the PA Central East Region. Dave has worked mostly in accounting and tax as a career, in the telecommunications, leasing and retail (supermarket) industries. He is currently self-employed in non-profit tax consulting. Dave has a CMI designation (indirect tax) from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, there are less than 900, active worldwide. He has been an on air personality for WEEU, Reading, PA and WEMR, Tunkhannock, PA and has spoken on indirect tax matters across the country. He currently is the State Faith Director, with the PA State Council and mentors District Deputies as he visits councils throughout the jurisdiction aiding the growth of the order and of the McGivney Guild. His wife Molly, is President of the St Rose of LIma Columbiettes, serving all councils in central York.
